Mark H. Galyean:

I am a knowledgeable attorney with real world experience.  I earned my first degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.  After earning my degree, I began my career as a salesman, working with people in every walk of life.  I learned how to communicate, get my point across and persuade people to see my side of any idea.  This has served me well as an attorney, both in negotiations with district attorneys and in front of judges and juries, when every word counts. 

Later, I elected to attend law school and earn my second degree, a Juris Doctor.  I obtained a scholarship to Western State University, College of Law, earning Dean’s List Honors immediately.  I excelled in my criminal law classes, as well as all trial advocacy classes offered.  Two such classes were taught by sitting judges in Orange County, meeting in their courtrooms, where I was held to the same ethical and professional standards as the lawyers practicing in front of these judges. 

I knew from the beginning that my passion was criminal defense.  I believe that everyone deserves a great defense and a lawyer to whom they can relate.  I have handled hundreds of cases with outstanding results.  I enjoy working with individuals, understanding their problems and how they got into trouble so that I can help them get their lives out of court and back on track!  I have had many successes helping people battle addiction, learning to handle life without crime and getting their lives back into mainstream, successful America.  I have spent years honing my ability to work with attorneys and the courts to obtain the best results possible.  Clients have been known to call me for help not only with criminal matters but also with life issues long after their case is resolved!

In Pending Criminal Matters, Time Is Of The Essence 

It is critical that you do not deal with law enforcement agencies until you understand all your rights.  Many times people who are arrested make the mistake of talking with authorities, believing this will help their case, when in fact it has the opposite effect.  We will also work to help you avoid the embarrassment of being arrested at your home, in front of your family, or at your place of employment in front of your co-workers. 

Once you have retained an attorney the authorities cannot communicate with you directly.  They must do so through your Attorney.  Once you have retained Mark Galyean to represent you, we will contact the proper authorities and advise them that any future contact must be made through our offices.  Mr. Galyean is accessible and seven days a week, returning calls within 24 hours. 

We are well known to the law enforcement agencies in the area and possibly can prevent a warrant for your arrest from being issued.  We can also make a difference dealing with Detention Release Officers (DRO) before you or your family member ever arrive at a detention facility.  We can also help by providing all of the necessary information to have you released O.R. rather than having to post bail.
